UPDATE: IN LIGHT OF THE ANTISEMITIC GRAFFITI INCIDENT AT WHITMAN HIGH SCHOOL, THE PARADE WILL BE MAKING A STOP AT WHITMAN AT 8:00PM INSTEAD OF WOOD ACRES. PLEASE SEE BELOW AMENDED PARADE ROUTE:
A Grand Firetruck Menorah lighting at Glen Echo Fire Station, with treats and gifts for all participants. From there, an amazing parade with firetrucks, menorah-topped cars, and Judah Macabee, it will be circling through the neighborhoods bring the joy of Chanukah. Stops will be made along the way where Judah Maccabee and the fire-rescuers will hand out donuts and chocolate gelt!!

SPECIAL MOMENT:
The Parade will be making two important stops along the way at the sites of the antisemitic graffiti that was scrawled on a wall in our neighborhood. We will respond to this darkness and hate with the light and joy of our Chanukah Menorah!!
