This year the festival of Lag B'Omer is on Sunday, May 18 and in NY they are organizing the largest Jewish parade ever!
The Great Parade (thegreatparade.com) will be bringing together the greatest names in Jewish entertainment, fantastic rides, games, acrobats, etc. etc. Jews from all over the country will be traveling in to participate in this tremendous event. Tens of thousands of Jewish children and adults!
Chabad of Bethesda will be arranging a chartered bus to NY for an unforgettable day of fun and Jewish pride & spirit! And we will be marching in the parade!
Our planned itinerary:

Head out from Chabad of Bethesda in a spacious, fully air-conditioned motorcoach provided by Vamoose. (Breakfast on motorcoach) |
| 10:00am | The Great Parade | Arrive in Brooklyn in time to watch (and march!) in The Great Parade. Amazing floats, great music and entertainment thousands of Jews from around the world! |
| 12:30pm | Pizza Lunch | Enjoy picnic lunch in spirit of Lag B'Omer! Famously delicious Brooklyn kosher pizza. |
| 1:15pm | Jewish Fair | Enjoy the carnival rides, games, prizes and stores of the huge Jewish Fair that will follow the parade. (Adults can also enjoy strolling through the main streets shops of one of the most vibrant Jewish communities in the US!) |
| 3:00pm | Jewish Childrens' Museum | Group up at the world reknown, state-of-the-art,and completely hands-on Jewish Childrens' Museum for a special guided group tour (you have never seen anything like it) |
| 4:00pm | Chabad World Headquarters | Visit Chabad World Headquarters and central synagogue for a fascinating inside look at Chabad |
| 5:00pm | Board Buses to Ohel | Visit the final resting place of the Rebbe, pray and request a blessing at a the place that tens of thousands have turned to |
| 6:30pm | BBQ Supper | Enjoy BBQ supper and final moments in NY |
| 7:00pm | Departure | Board motorcoach for home |
| 11:00pm | Arrival | Arrive at Chabad of Bethesda |
